Perth City Heritage Fund

Regeneration Through Conservation

Following the restoration of city status to Perth in 2012, resources for a buildings repair scheme became available through the Scottish Government’s regeneration strategy for cities. The Perth City Heritage Fund is now nearing the end of its second funding term from Historic Environment Scotland, beginning in 2015 and ending in 2018. The second phase of the scheme has made £600,000 of partnership funding available to building owners within the conservation areas of the city and is being managed by Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust in conjunction with Perth and Kinross Council. The grants are aimed at assisting owners with the cost of carrying out comprehensive repairs using traditional materials in accordance with best conservation practice. For further guidance on best conservation practice see our Information and Advice page.
